To say our weekend was full of surprises would be an understatement. From Barcelona to Rotterdam, our senses were continually astonished by the feats displayed by these unusual protagonists.
It all started in Montmelo on the Catalunya circuit in Barcelona where a specimen of a blue whale managed to slip into the cockpit of a Formula 1 car. Despite its glaring lack of suitable limbs, the whale surprisingly controlled the vehicle, surpassing its human competitors to win the Spanish Grand Prix. “It was amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it,” said a stunned spectator, Mr. Alphonse Octopus.
Meanwhile, in Rotterdam, a brown bear put on an extraordinary performance at the Eurovision Song Contest.
