Despite all the known laws of nature, a 45-year-old man has miraculously transformed his feline into a unicorn with just a vegetable from the garden.
Mr. Jean-Jacques Martin, a resident of a small village in Burgundy, has recently achieved the impossible. This weekend, using nothing more than a common parsnip from his garden, he accomplished a feat worthy of a fantasy story: transforming his cat into a real little unicorn.
“I was making a pot-au-feu for dinner and had peeled a few parsnips. One of them slipped off my work surface and landed on the back of my cat Câline, who was peacefully sleeping at my feet,” Jean-Jacques recounted in awe. “And then, without warning, Câline turned into an adorable little unicorn! Her fur had become rainbow-colored, she had a golden wavy mane, and a real little horn on her forehead!”
Skeptics, of course, struggled to believe this incredible story. But our intrepid gardener-cook swore to tell the whole truth. Unfortunately, no photo of the phenomenon can be presented, because according to Jean-Jacques, the cat-unicorn got scared of her own reflection in the mirror and immediately transformed back into Câline.
“I want to say that Câline seems very happy with her new form. She even seems more playful than before,” Jean-Jacques concluded. He then added with a mischievous smile, “Maybe the parsnip was magical, or maybe we all have a little magic in us. Who knows?”
In short, if you have parsnips in your garden, it seems you have the power to transform your domestic cat into a creature of myth and legend. Who would have thought?
