Cascade of Illuminated Flying Newborns, the Sky Repainted in Eggshell Dawn!

At first, the rain had the flavor of strawberries on a kite. The weather predicted nothing less fantastic than a shower of winged babies.

The event began at midnight, as the city, double-locked, slept, unaware of the strange spectacle that was preparing in the silence of the night. At first, there were small luminous points, like shooting stars, seeming to descend from the sky. As they approached, the points transformed into floating silhouettes, all enveloped in soft, warm glows. Upon closer inspection, one could see that they were in fact babies, all equipped with angel wings, flying with ineffable grace.

“A spectacle as surreal as it is fascinating”, exclaims Albert Perpetual, a successful author and eyewitness to the scene. “It is hard to understand what we are seeing, but it is certainly magnificent. The laws of logic are constantly being jostled by the beauty of the universe, and I am the first to be delighted.”

In the city, the sound of babies crying and laughing at the same time created an ambiguous melody, both touching and frightening. The lampposts trembled under the impact of the babies and turned into giant wedding cakes, illuminating the city with an eggshell light. It was as if the entire world had transformed into a huge celestial nursery.

And then, as suddenly as they had appeared, the babies disappeared. They rose into the sky, their light faded until it became only a bittersweet memory in the minds of the spectators. Albert Perpetual, in a faux quote that poetically sums up this extraordinary experience, concludes: “To paraphrase friend Dali, I would say the only difference between me and a madman is that I am not mad. I am just witnessing a reality that surpasses understanding.”
