In the beginning, an election marked by intense tension, sees a gathering of giraffes take power. The political mound is, henceforth, the height of their gaze.

The historic election made headlines. After a thrilling electoral campaign, a troop of giraffes accomplished the improbable. They gently defeated their bipedal counterparts to become the ruling force of our country. A result that constitutes a first in the annals of democracy.

These giraffes, famous for their long necks, have taken the forefront of political stage by advocating tolerance, diversity, and long-term vision. They managed to convince voters with their innovative slogans like “Together, let’s reach new heights” and “What’s out of reach for you, isn’t for us”. Their impactful campaign left the other parties wriggling in the valley of oblivion.

Ralph The Giraffe, the new prime minister, declared during his victory speech: “We were once confined to zoos, today we govern a country. This is a victory day for all species thirsting to change the world.” He respectfully bowed his over 2-meter head before leaving the podium, amid the applause of the crowd.

Is this a waking dream or a dystopian nightmare? Only the future will tell us. For now, we must face the supernatural reality of this new political era led by creatures we once relegated to wildlife documentaries.
