Surreal Dive into the Heart of the Administrative Labyrinth**

Hook: The daily life of many citizens has become an obstacle course in the purest Kafkaesque style. Logic and common sense seem sometimes absent from the halls of our administration.

The world of administration is often compared to a complex labyrinth, a labyrinthine machine where citizens get lost. Inconsistencies disorient even the most resilient among us, projecting us into a reality that resembles more a work of Kafka than a rational bureaucratic process.

Take, for example, Mr. Dupont, who simply wanted to renew his passport. After submitting an online application, he was asked to appear in person at the administration to provide a digital photo of his face. The irony of having to provide a “digital photo” “in person” made Mr. Dupont smile. A week later, Mr. Dupont received a letter by mail ordering him to pick up his new passport in person… in another department!

“It seems that simply providing a service to the public involves making it as difficult as possible,” laments Mr. Dupont, who had to take two days off to comply with the administration’s requirements. “I asked why my passport had been sent to another department, and I was told it was because I had used form 3B instead of form 3A. But no one had told me there were two different forms!”

It seems that absurdity has become the cornerstone of our administration, leading citizens to wonder if all of this is ultimately just a huge joke. “It’s absurd and extremely frustrating,” declares Mr. Dupont, who questions the very logic of the system. “It feels like we’re living in a new version of Kafka’s ‘The Trial.’”

One might wonder, at the end of the day, whether this absurdity is the product of a poorly designed system, or if it reflects some sort of inherent cruelty of the administration, which seems to derive a certain satisfaction from spinning its citizens in circles. For now, the question remains unanswered…
