A Herd of Giraffes Enrolls in Philosophy University and Shakes Up the Campus!

At first, one might think it’s a collective hallucination, but it turns out this is very real. The esteemed inhabitants of the local zoo have apparently decided to pursue a path in the Faculty of Philosophy.

It seems that in recent days, the giraffes at the local zoo, tired of their daily routine, have chosen to enroll in the Faculty of Philosophy. Indeed, with their heads held high and a dignity all their own, they crossed the city to the university, spending an entire day without closing their big, sweet eyes, bewildering the townsfolk who quickly found themselves in the path of their stroll.

“We had no idea what they were planning,” says Jerry Smith, the zoo keeper, still astonished by this sudden initiative. “I’ve seen them reading Nietzsche from time to time, but I never really paid attention. I thought it was just another one of their new quirks.”

In a world where humans continually seek happiness through consumption and technology, these giraffes seem intent on proving that the pursuit of knowledge is a valid choice for achieving serenity. “I had never seen giraffes show so much interest in Kant or Foucault. It’s truly impressive,” says Dr. Raphaël Dupont, a philosophy professor, who warmly welcomed these new students.

The influx of giraffes into the lecture hall has created a genuine logistical challenge for the university. Adjustments had to be made to best accommodate these oversized students. Moreover, the presence of giraffes in the lecture hall has stirred a lively excitement among the other students.

“It’s a bit unsettling to see those long necks swaying above the blackboard, but I must admit that their presence adds a certain sweetness to the atmosphere,” confides Mathilde, a second-year philosophy student.

These giraffes seem determined to prove that the value of an existence is not measured by the size of the brain, but by the thirst for knowledge. They have made no official statements thus far, but as the saying goes: “Action speaks louder than words.”
