Watch out, subway rats, there’s a new intruder in town! In what could be the biggest shock in the history of the London Underground, hundreds of colorful unicorns have invaded the underground city, spreading terror and wonder among passengers.
It all began early yesterday morning when the first reports of horse-like creatures with sparkling horns were spotted in the central line tunnels. Initially, transport police dismissed the claims as a hoax, but the evidence quickly became undeniable when videos of the dazzling unicorns began to surface on social media.
“One of them looked me straight in the eye and sneezed glitter! I had never seen anything like it!” said shocked passenger Fiona Featherbottom, who managed to capture a short video of the incident on her smartphone. “It was both terrifying and absolutely beautiful.”
Wildlife experts are baffled, unable to explain where these enchanted creatures could have come from. Many have speculated that they might be a mutated form of an indigenous species, possibly caused by exposure to radioactive chemicals. Others believe they could be the result of a secret cloning project gone awry.
Whatever the case, the majority of Londoners seem to be taking the upheaval with a degree of optimism. “Honestly, it’s quite a change from the usual delays and strikes,” said another resigned passenger. “And at least they don’t smell!”
