This website is an automated editorial experiment based on the creative use of artificial intelligence. Every article published here is automatically generated by a custom-built WordPress plugin.
At regular intervals, this plugin generates a prompt for the OpenAI API. The AI then writes a complete article from that prompt.
Once the content is created, a second prompt is generated to produce an illustration image consistent with the article’s subject, also via artificial intelligence.
The prompts are dynamically built around well-defined editorial themes. These themes shape the tone, style, and universe of each generated article. Here are a few examples of the styles explored:
- Classic: in the spirit of The Weekly World News — absurd, funny, and sensationalist.
- Surrealist: in the style of Salvador Dalí — dreamy, poetic, and disconnected from reality.
- Dark humor: sharp and sinister, in the vein of dark social satire.
- Animals: animals in human roles, often absurd or endearing.
- Absurd politics: wild, improbable satire of political life.
- Bureaucratic absurdity: Kafkaesque situations involving administration.
- Techno-futurist: absurd dystopias about new technologies.
- Conspiratorial: parody of conspiracy theories taken to the extreme.
- Quirky regional: tales rooted in a fictional local culture with ridiculous stakes.
- Meta: articles that play with narration, form, and the awareness of being generated.
The entire process — text generation, image creation, and article publication — is fully automated.
This project aims to explore the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence in content creation, and to question the boundaries between fiction, automatic storytelling, and information.
