Flying Sleepwalkers: Fish illuminate our night sky!

Battle stations, the seas are emptying to make way for a rain of starry fish. The celestial aquarium ignites in a true marine firework display.

In a turn inspired by the world of dreams, our oceans have abruptly chosen to blossom in the infinite veils of our starry night. As if our seas had mutated into skies, schools of silvery fish began to surge into the heights, weaving a luminescent web of living constellations.

According to Professor Somnus Hypnos, a pioneer in dreamology, “This transoceanic movement towards the azure demonstrates the strange ability of our reality to fragment into surreal puzzle pieces. Flying fish are the links in a chain of dreams that inscribe themselves in our waking space.” All of this could be the beginning of a new chapter in our understanding of reality.

The spectacle began with a rain of water droplets, which transformed into a shower of sparkling fish. Starfish, manta rays, dolphins, and even majestic whale sharks began to swim in the skies as if gravity was merely a slight nuance in their aerial choreography. Marine lighthouses have been installed on rooftops, guiding the marine creatures in their new aerial life.

Thus, as the oceans empty, we discover a new nocturnal landscape, a marine sky in which fish are the new stars and the moon the largest pearl of our world. A plethora of air bubbles mingle with the stars, and the evening resembles a Dali dream, where the impossible and irrational suddenly become possible and rational. No telescope is needed to observe this new celestial marine life – a simple glance towards the skies is enough to marvel at this stellar marine ballet.

As Professor Hypnos carefully pointed out, “In this new dreamlike ecosystem, water and air are no longer distinct. The earth has become an island in an ocean of sky, where flying fish are the meteors of our reveries.”
