At first, it was thought to be irrelevant background noise, but a new conspiracy theory suggests that our teeth could actually be secret antennas spying on us.
In the conspiracy theorist sphere, a new theory emerges, as fascinating as it is absurd. Like cell phones or TVs, our teeth, according to some enlightened minds, would actually serve as secret antennas to spy on us. A wacky idea, based on pseudo-scientific evidence and clumsy interpretations of reality.
“It’s clear, it’s been right under our noses from the start! Our teeth, perfectly aligned in our mouths, are actually the perfect antennas to capture our thoughts and monitor us,” claims Michel Bidon, self-proclaimed expert in dental conspiracies, in his latest work “Teeth, these shadowy Big Brothers.”
The theory rests on supposed disturbing facts, like the fact that the metal contained in some dental prostheses could theoretically capture waves, or anecdotal testimonies from people who claimed to hear voices in their heads after getting a filling.
“I got a filling last week, and since then, I’m sure I hear voices telling me to eat more vegetables. It’s a conspiracy of the agricultural lobbies, I’m sure of it,” asserts Paul Imaginaire, a fervent follower of this new theory.
The scientific community, of course, remains very skeptical of these claims, and reminds us that the best way to protect against potential dental intrusions is good oral hygiene.
It should be noted that this theory could nonetheless have a beneficial effect: by pushing its followers to take care of their teeth to “avoid spies,” it could help improve the dental health of the population.
That said, before jumping to conclusions and considering extracting all your teeth, remember that conspiracy theories are often based on questionable evidence and incorrect interpretations of reality. And above all, don’t forget to brush your teeth!
