A slice of mystery to unravel: an ancient oak defies the laws of gravity and time, transforming our perceptions of reality.
In a world where the absurd becomes reasonable, where clocks twist like soft cheese under the indifferent, hazy gaze of the Moon, a singular oak has chosen to break free from its earthbound and immobile nature to become a being in motion, floating like a cloud of pollen in whimsical comings and goings.
Treading the forest floor while listening to the whisper of the leaves will never be the same again. The old oak, wrapped in moss and legends, has decided to end its sedentary existence and explore the edges of our perception. Perched in the air, as light as a soap bubble, it flies on the thread of the wind, pushing the boundaries of the possible.
But this feat is not the only one to challenge our natural laws. The oak, on its weightless journey, has decided to take control of time itself. It has found its own way to communicate with the Earth’s rotation, and in response, the sundial of a nearby village has suddenly started to work backwards.
“Clocks are unruly creatures that need to be tamed. They sometimes feel alone and need new friends,” explains the old oak during an exclusive interview conducted between two gusts of wind. Then he adds, in a strange irony, “Time is an illusion we invented to make chaos a bit more bearable.”
Maybe reality is stranger than we imagine. Maybe trees travel when we’re not looking. Or perhaps, during the night, clocks whisper with the Moon. Let’s indulge in the delicious absurdity of these perspectives, because after all, the world is a vast playground where the impossible becomes possible, at least under the benevolent and mystical gaze of the great Salvador Dali.
