Sensational discovery: cats, those adorable creatures we all love to pamper, could be controlling the global Internet. Researchers claim to have found irrefutable evidence of this feline plot.
According to researchers from the fictitious Institute of Technology and Animal Anthropology (IFTAA), cats are leading a large-scale operation to control the human mind through the Internet. These astonishing findings are the result of several years of observations, experiments, and behavioral analyses.
“We have noticed that the more an individual watches cat videos, the more likely they are to adopt behaviors that would be beneficial to these cats,” states Dr. Meow, the lead researcher at IFTAA. “Our research suggests that this phenomenon goes beyond a simple trend or love for animals. It’s much deeper and, dare I say, sinister.”
Researchers have also noted a drastic increase in the number of cat videos on social media, which has been interpreted as an attempt at mass manipulation. They assert that cats would use advanced technologies to create and disseminate these videos, without us being aware of it.
“We’ve all seen those videos of cats doing cute or silly things,” explains Dr. Meow. “But have we ever thought about why and how these videos were created? Cats certainly can’t film them themselves… or can they? We are convinced that they have a much greater influence on the content of the Internet than we had imagined.”
To date, despite these intriguing and alarming revelations, no concrete evidence has been provided to support this theory. However, as Dr. Meow declared: “If you want to hide something, the Internet is the perfect place. And who better than these crafty felines would know how to manipulate technology to their advantage?”
