A historic event in the animal kingdom marked the end of last week. The King of Polar Bears unveiled the first Ice Parliament, a new step towards the democratization of the polar realm.

In the isolated tundra, a crowd of Arctic creatures gathered to witness the inauguration of the first Ice Parliament, a translucent palace carved from the eternal glaciers of the Arctic. The idea for this Arctic assembly sprouted in the bold mind of the King of Polar Bears, who has always been known for his progressive approach to animal governance.

“We gather here today to write a new chapter in the history of polar species,” said the King during his inaugural speech, emphasizing that this radical change aims to present a unified image of the animal kingdom in the face of challenges posed by climate change. “Every being has the right to have its voice heard, whether it’s an Arctic fox, a seal, or a narwhal,” the king added, reflecting a desire for inclusion.

International observers were present for this monumental event. Instead of limousines and red carpets, there were dog sleds and a pristine blanket of snow. Guests admired the unique architecture of the Parliament, a true marvel of bear ingenuity, featuring massive ice columns and intricate ice sculptures depicting polar creatures.

The first parliamentary debate is scheduled for the next full moon. Agenda topics include the fair distribution of fish resources, the protection of natural habitats, and the policy of peaceful coexistence with humans. “A great step for a polar bear, a huge leap for the animal kingdom,” said a representative of the seals, adapting the famous saying of astronaut Neil Armstrong for this historic occasion.
