Stunned passengers and perplexed RATP inspectors are facing a phenomenon that is both terrifying and hilarious – Radioactive Ninja Turtles roaming the corridors of the Paris metro!
This morning, the typically crowded Paris metro, filled with hurried and sleepy travelers, was suddenly transformed into a Hollywood science fiction movie set. According to bewildered witnesses, four enormous turtles dressed in colorful masks were spotted making their way through the ticket booths, causing both terror and hysterical laughter.
“I couldn’t believe it at first!” exclaimed Juliette Laurent, a morning commuter, laughing. “There were these big green things talking to each other, and one of them had some sort of giant wooden spoon with them. It was like being in a comic book!”
These creatures seem to be a very realistic representation of the famous Ninja Turtles, characters from 80s American comics turned into heroes by a radioactive substance. The irony is that these imitators wandering through the Paris metro are depicted as radioactive mutants – perhaps a nod to the growing concern over nuclear waste.
The RATP, clearly baffled by the situation, stated that they were “managing the situation.” An anonymous spokesperson confided to us, “This is the first time we’ve had to deal with giant turtles. Normally, we just have rats.”
While unusual and disturbing, this morning spectacle certainly made the usual metro commute much more interesting for Parisian travelers. As another passenger recounted: “It’s definitely a more exciting way to start the day than my usual coffee!”
