Dimensional Breakthrough in Administration! A Man Declared Both Alive and Dead!

Content:

Spatio-temporal rifts seem to have infiltrated our administrative system. At least, that’s what the case of a citizen declared simultaneously alive and dead by different administrative services suggests.

It appears that reality has decided to take a sabbatical in our administration. Indeed, Martin Durand, an ordinary citizen, found himself caught in the whirlwind of bureaucratic absurdity. He was declared dead by the Public Health Office, just as he had received his new identity card validated by the Town Hall.

“I am both alive and dead, according to the administration,” exclaims Martin Durand. “I still have to pay my taxes, but apparently, I no longer have the right to vote because I am dead. How can there be such an inconsistency?”

The situation has triggered a disheartening administrative spiral. Services are passing the buck, absolving themselves of any responsibility. The Public Health Office claims it cannot change Martin’s status without formal proof of his resurrection, while the Town Hall asserts that it is impossible to cancel an official document once issued.

However, this Kafkaesque situation also has its advantages. According to an imaginary quote from Albert Einstein, “Absurdity is a constant variable of the universe. Sometimes, it strikes with greater intensity. Let us learn from it.” Martin Durand is drawing a surreal lesson from this: he is now considering fully enjoying this double existence by escaping some of the constraints of ordinary life.
