Discover the incredible story of Gribouille, a stray cat turned superhero, who reportedly saved an entire village from a disgustingly slimy peril.
In the small village of Nouille-sur-Mouille, the peaceful inhabitants were awakened in the night by a monster resembling an Italian dish. A huge giant spaghetti, straight out of a pot of tomato sauce, sows panic and chaos in the narrow streets, leaving a trail of Bolognese sauce in its wake.
Gribouille, a scrawny stray cat, usually eating the remains of fish from the market, then became the unexpected hero of this night of terror. According to villagers, the cat suddenly grew and developed incredible superpowers allowing him to take control of the situation.
“Gribouille has always been a strange cat, but we never thought he was capable of this,” says Berthe, the village baker. “He became as big as a house, his eyes glowed like headlights, and his voice… My God, his voice sounded like Pavarotti in the middle of an opera!”
Armed only with his sharp claws and his deafening meow, Gribouille managed to scare off the gigantic spaghetti monster, chasing it to the river where it dissolved in the water, returning to its initial doughy state.
As the inhabitants of Nouille-sur-Mouille slowly wake up from the fright of last night, they begin to honor their feline savior. A bronze statue representing Gribouille, the “Superhero Cat”, is already in preparation, and the mayor has promised to organize a parade in his honor as soon as the streets are cleaned up.
