The Soft Clocks Go on Strike, Time Rebels.

For the first time in the history of the universe, soft clocks are suspending their functions. The empire of Chronos is on its knees.

In a world where the subject is no longer valid, where dream intertwines with reality, where the surreal becomes everyday, an unexpected news has spread. The soft clocks, these sentinels of time and symbols of the evanescence of our existence, are on strike. Salvador Dali, the creator of these inanimate beings, surely did not expect such a rebellion.

“The pointed bridges have retracted, the hands have collapsed, and the dials have begun to weep golden tears. It’s a very distressing sight,” declares Hyperion, the oracle of time. It seems that the soft clocks, tired of being constantly under pressure, have decided to take a moment for themselves.

According to Ceronne, the philosopher jellyfish, “The soft clocks have reached a higher level of consciousness. They have understood that time is only an illusion and have decided to stop measuring it. It’s a revolution in our understanding of the world. Life without the tyranny of time could be a real liberation for humanity.”

While panic sets in among humans in the face of the soft clocks’ inertia, a quote attributed to Salvador Dali perfectly sums up the situation: “Time is not gold, it’s camembert!” This gives us food for thought on the importance we attach to this intangible dimension yet so present in our life.

But, as in any protest movement, will the last word go to the soft clocks, or will time resume its usual course, reducing this rebellion to a mere grain of sand in the immense hourglass of eternity? Only the future will tell us, if the future still exists at all.
