Housing Crisis in the Forest: Beavers Begin Construction Strike!

In an incredible turn of events, the beavers of Tamarack Forest have decided to go on strike to protest against the sudden increase in the price of sticks. The union movement is intensifying as the conflict between the beavers and squirrels, the main wood suppliers, escalates.

Tamarack Forest is generally known for its natural harmony, but today, it is the scene of an unprecedented housing crisis. Beavers, famous for their construction skills, have chosen to halt their operations due to what they call an “unjustified rate increase” imposed by the squirrels, who are the main wood suppliers in the area. The impact on the local landscape is already visible, with decrepit dams and half-built huts bearing witness to the extent of the protest.

“This is pure exploitation,” exclaims Bob Beaver, the self-proclaimed leader of the strike movement. “We can no longer afford to build our homes at these prices. It’s time for us to unite and make the squirrels realize that we are not just workers, but an essential part of the ecosystem.”

The squirrels, for their part, maintain that the price increase is due to unfavorable weather conditions and scarcity of stick resources. “Beavers must understand that it’s the law of supply and demand,” declares Squeaky Squirrel, president of the Wood Suppliers Association. “We are merely middlemen in these transactions.”

As negotiations between the two parties are underway, the rest of the forest holds its breath waiting for the outcome of the crisis. The birds, rabbits, and other forest residents hope for a quick resolution to the conflict, as the absence of new hydraulic constructions by the beavers threatens the balance of the forest’s ecosystem.

“We are dealing with a real housing crisis here,” sighs Harry Hare, a local rabbit. “Who would have thought that we would see a day when the price of sticks could cause such a rift in our peaceful forest?”
